ENTRY REQUIREMENT

For 10th Qualified

10th Passed Students can pursue ACCA qualification via CAT/FIA route. Students have to pass 7 papers of FIA or 9 papers of CAT to transfer themselves into ACCA. They will be also exempted from F1, F2, F3.

Requirement:

  • Minimum 60% marks in Math
  • Minimum 60% marks in English
  • Minimum 50% marks in other subjects

For +2 Qualified

12th or +2 passed students can pursue ACCA if they fulfill

Requirement:

  • Minimum 65% marks in Accounts or Math
  • Minimum 65% marks in English
  • Minimum 50% marks in other subjects

STUDENTS WHO DON’T MEET THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

If the students are having less marks for minimum entry requirement for ACCA, then the students can enter into ACCA by passing 3 papers of “Diploma in Accounting and Business ( FFA, FFB, and FFM ) of Foundation of Accounting of ACCA”. After successful completion a student will be eligible for exemptions of the following 3 papers:

  • F1 ACCOUNTANT IN BUSINESS
  • F2 MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING
  • F3 FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING

The estimated duration of course will be 3 years including BSc. (Hons) Degree in Applied Accountancy from Oxford Brookes University and PER.

For B.COM / BSc Accounting & Other Graduates

B.COM / BSc. Accounting qualified can enter into ACCA with the exemption of 4 papers of ACCA out of total 14 papers.

For Other Graduates

  • BBA will get exemption of one paper( F1 )
  • LLB will get exemption of one paper ( F4 )

For MBA Qualified

MBA can enter into ACCA with the exemption of 3 papers out of 14 papers of ACCA.

Following exempted papers are as follows

  • F1 ACCOUNTANT IN BUSINESS
  • F2 MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING
  • F3 FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING

In that case a student will have to appear for 11 papers of ACCA. These are as follows:

  • F4 CORPORATE & BUSINESS LAW
  • F5 PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
  • F6 TAXATION
  • F7 FINANCIAL REPORTING
  • F8 AUDIT & ASSURANCE
  • F9 FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
  • P1 GOVERNANCE RISK & ETHICS
  • P2 CORPORATE REPORTING
  • P3 BUSINESS ANALYSIS

The other 2 >> A student has to choose two papers from the following four papers.

  • P4 ADVANCED FINANCIAL REPORTING
  • P5 ADVANCED PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
  • P6 ADVANCED TAXATION
  • P7 ADVANCE AUDIT & ASSURANCE

They can study both as a full time and as a working student.

  • Full time student can finish in 1.5 years
  • Working student may finish in 2.5 years

For CA-IPCC

CA – IPCC can enter into ACCA with the exemption of 6 papers out of total 14 papers. So, they have to sit for 8 papers only.

The 6 exempted papers are as follows:

  • F1 ACCOUNTANT IN BUSINESS
  • F2 MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING
  • F3 FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING
  • F4 CORPORATE & BUSINESS LAW

**Condition:-This paper can only be exempted if student has qualified IPC with B.COM

  • F6 TAXATION
  • F8 AUDIT & ASSURANCE

The 8 papers they have to sit for as follows

  • F5 PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
  • F7 FINANCIAL REPORTING
  • F9 FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
  • P1 GOVERNANCE RISK & ETHICS
  • P2 CORPORATE reporting
  • P3 BUSINESS ANALYSIS

The other 2 >> A student has to choose two papers from the following four papers.

  • P4 ADVANCED FINANCIAL REPORTING
  • P5 ADVANCED PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
  • P6 ADVANCED TAXATION
  • P7 ADVANCE AUDIT & ASSURANCE

CA/IPCC can finish ACCA in one year as a full time student.

For CA/ CMA Qualified

CA and CMA can enter into ACCA with the exemption of 9 papers out of total 14 papers, which means they have to sit for only 5 papers.

9 Exempted papers are as follows:

  • F1 ACCOUNTANT IN BUSINESS
  • F2 MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING
  • F3 FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING
  • F4 CORPORATE & BUSINESS LAW

  • F8 AUDIT & ASSURANCE

The 5 papers they have to sit for are as follows:

  • P3 BUSINESS ANALYSIS

The other 2 >> A student has to choose two papers from the following four papers.

  • P4 ADVANCED FINANCIAL REPORTING

They can qualify ACCA within 6 to 9 months.

ACCA EXEMPTIONS FOR DEGREE HOLDERS

Holders of recognized business and/or accounting degrees will be considered for ACCA exemptions from some or all of the papers in Knowledge & Skills level, if they have previously studied and been gauged in comparable subject areas. Students with non-relevant degrees will not receive exemption from the examinations.
